'RHONJ' Star Jennifer Fessler Hints at Weight Loss Using Ozempic

Jennifer recently opened up about her striking new look during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen on March 21, 2023. 

The Real Housewives of New Jersey star detailed her cosmetic surgeries and the use of medications to help facilitate her recent weight loss.

Jennifer told Andy that she lost a lot of weight by taking peptides. "I don't know if you've heard of any medications associated with [peptides] that help people lose weight," Jennifer continued.

Next, Andy asked the reality TV star if she was referring to Ozempic — a diabetes medication used to help control blood sugar in adults with type two diabetes.

While the drug has taken Hollywood by storm, Jennifer didn't give an exact response, noting: "You said it, I didn't. But whatever works, here I am."

In addition to details about her weight loss, Jennifer spoke about some of the cosmetic surgeries she had done. The star admitted to having a facelift and getting a nose job.

The television personality also thanked her surgeon Dr. Sam Rizk for the facial transformation, describing him as the best. Jennifer went on to boast, "Yeah, I don't play, I don't play."

The reality TV star had researched every doctor in her friend circle and the entire tri-state area before deciding on Dr. Sam, a Park Avenue plastic surgeon.

Jennifer's revelation comes nearly a month after the Saddle River, New Jersey native claimed her doctor put her on Ozempic without her knowledge to treat symptoms of menopause.

The reality TV star told Daily Mail she didn't realize what the doctor gave her, and they were a bunch of different things like estrogen pellets.

Next, Jennifer said she was given a mix of peptides and eventually discovered it was a form of Ozempic. The raving beauty then explained she didn't go on the prescription to lose weight but for menopause symptoms.

Jennifer's somewhat admission of using Ozempic comes in the wake of recent denials by The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills' Kyle Richards, who was accused of using the drug after she shared photos of her slender body.

In an Instagram post, Kyle told her followers that she had never tried Ozempic and that her slender body wasn't from plastic surgery either. 

The reality TV star explained that she was honest about everything she did, adding, "But if giving plastic surgery the credit makes you feel better, then pop off, sister."

Besides Kylie, The Real Housewives of Miami stars Alexia Nepola and Marysol Patton also shut down rumors that they were using the type two diabetes medication.

Alexia disclosed to Page Six that she and her colleague were taking B-12 injections during an episode of the show in February.

The reality TV star stated that the drug was for energy and other nutrients, adding that the doctor placed her co-star on the medication because she felt weak and lethargic.

Besides the celebrities mentioned above,  other stars, including Mindy Kaling and Khloé Kardashian, have sparked unfounded rumors of using Semaglutide brands for weight loss. However, the Kardashians star denied the accusation.

The trend is so ubiquitous with the stars that Jimmy Kimmel even joked about Ozempic while hosting the 2023 Oscars. One can only wonder if more celebrities would admit to using ozempic for weight loss. Time will tell.
