Living with a chronically unemployed thief of a sister can be hard, especially when your parents won't let you put a lock on your door. This is the situation a 17-year-old girl found herself in when her sister broke up with her boyfriend and needed a place to stay.
After begging her parents for a lock and being denied, the girl came home to find that her car had been stolen by her sister and crashed. When her parents refused to make her sister pay for the damages, the girl called her grandparents who helped her get the car and insurance.
However, when she told her parents that she would have to file a police report, they chose to replace her car with the money they had saved for a family vacation to Orlando. Now her sister, nieces, and parents are calling her an a**hole for denying her nieces a vacation.
Was she wrong to make her parents choose between her sister going to jail or their vacation money?
