Unfortunately for the girls crushing on him, the 31-year-old California-born actor is already taken – by a supermodel no less! He’s dating Kaia Gerber, the lookalike daughter of ‘90s fashion icon, Cindy Crawford.

The two first sparked romance rumors in December 2021, after Daily Mail obtained photos of them leaving a yoga class together.

On Valentine’s Day last year, they were spotted out again in London as they grabbed coffee and snacks. They also flew back to New York together and had a dinner date there as well.

They made their relationship public the following month at the W Magazine Best Performances party in Los Angeles.

The Met Gala in May 2022 marked their red carpet debut as a couple. They looked quite the gorgeous couple as they posed for photos together.

Later that month, Elvis premiered at the Cannes Film Festival. They attended together and went all out with the PDA.

The 21-year-old model also made a cameo in Butler’s photoshoot for V Magazine's VMAN. Though she didn’t show her face, her “I know” tattoo gave her away.

After the Carrie Diaries star won Best Actor at the Golden Globes in January, his ladylove celebrated the moment by giving him a big kiss backstage.

Before Butler got together with Gerber, he had a brief fling with Lily-Rose Depp. They were spotted out in July 2021 during a PDA-filled date night – the only one as far as the public knows.

While filming Elvis, the lead star and Olivia DeJonge, who played Priscilla Presley, sparked romance rumors when they were seen together at a theater in Melbourne.

They were also spotted during a beach trip, but never commented on the rumors. And if there had been a romance, it seemed to have ended when filming wrapped.

Aside from his relationship with Gerber, Butler’s most public romance was with Vanessa Hudgens, which lasted nine years.

The two reportedly met on the set of her film, High School Musical, in 2005. However, she was in a relationship with her costar, Zac Efron, then.

It wasn’t until 2011 that Butler and Hudgens were spotted together at the birthday party of Ashley Tisdale’s sister, sparking relationship rumors.

In February 2012, they made their red carpet debut at the premiere of Journey 2: The Mysterious Island.

Hudgens made their romance Instagram official in 2014 when she gave him a birthday shoutout.

“Yesterday was the love of my life's birthday,” she wrote. “He never stops inspiring me in every aspect of life and always lifts those around him up higher.”

Engagement rumors circulated in 2017, which Hudgens denied.

In January 2020, news broke that the couple had split. A source told People, “Busy work schedules and travel definitely put a strain on the relationship.”

In an interview with the Los Angeles Times in January, Butler credited Hudgens for suggesting he could play Elvis.

“We'd been together for so long and she had this sort of clairvoyant moment and so I really, I owe her a lot for believing in me,” he said.
