Tom Schwartz Gives His Opinion On The Tom Sandoval And Raquel Leviss Cheating Scandal

Schwartz, 40, spoke with TMZ at the Airport on Sunday. He said, "Okay, I think. Relatively speaking, I mean, he has a sense of profound sadness, rightfully so, that he's a piece of s---. And to some extent, maybe he is, But he knows he f---ed up, and the whole thing is just really sad."

When questioned if he knew about the affair, Schwartz responded, 'I prefer not to talk about that at this time; it will 'play out on the show.'

He expressed concern for Ariana but acknowledged that she has many friends and relatives that care for her.

He continued, "Luckily, Ariana has a really good support system, and she's with her friends; I hope she's living a good life, just indulging. I hope she goes on a living spree. I'm just hoping this whole thing blows over."

He also explained whether he kissed Leviss to conceal her involvement with Sandoval. He denied the allegations and said, "That is not correct. Unless I was a pawn in the game."

Schwartz told TMZ that he hasn't spoken to Leviss since the news of the affair surfaced, calling it "very awful."

He also discussed co-star Scheana Shay, whose attorney recently denied allegations that she assaulted Raquel during a dispute about her relationship with Sandoval.

'I haven't talked to her about it. I haven't talked to Scheana.'

He also stated that the 'last thing' on his mind right now is the show's ratings and that he's 'worried about Ariana,' but added that she has a strong support system.

"I'm just sad about its negative impact on our business," Schwartz continued. But I think cooler heads will prevail."

The two 40-year-old celebrities share ownership of two Los Angeles companies: Schwartz & Sandy's, which they started in late 2022, and TomTom, which they co-founded with Lisa Vanderpump and her husband, Ken Todd, in 2018.

According to a statement released on the cocktail lounge's official Instagram, the cocktail lounge has received a lot of negative comments following the controversy of Sandoval's romance with Leviss.

Sandoval also issued his statement on the company and the people affected by his actions.

They said, "Schwartz & Sandy's might have my name on it, but there are 3 other partners and 20 employees who especially rely on the restaurant for income for them and their families; like TomTom, I'm a small part of a much bigger thing. Please direct ur anger towards me and not them. They did nothing wrong."

The statement continued,

"We appreciate you may feel a certain way, but please understand that the livelihoods of others also depend on this business. There are far more people involved in this venture than just Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz. Our staff, from the waitresses and bartenders to the cooks and dishwashers, all have nothing to do with this unfortunate situation."

According to reports, Madix and Sandoval's nine-year relationship ended on Wednesday when she learned of the alleged infidelity with Leviss.

A source reportedly told Page Six that Sandoval and Leviss had planned to tell Madix about the relationship for 'weeks.'

But they delayed so long that Madix discovered their secret on Wednesday night when she discovered Leviss' texts and an intimate video on Sandoval's phone.

After finding out about Sandoval and Leviss' months-long romance, Madix unfollowed them on Instagram. Schwartz, who supposedly learned of his friend's betrayal "a month ago," was also unfollowed by her.

Sandoval, also business partners with Schwartz, claimed on Instagram that he only discovered his costar's cheating 'very recently' and  'did not condone' his behavior.
