Jennifer Lopez And Ben Affleck Checking Out Their Lavish New $64M Mansion!

Reports say that the two were spotted inspecting the $64-million property and discussing materials and plans with the team at the compound in Pacific Palisades.

J-Lo seems to be the more hands-on one of the two, as she was reportedly seen interacting more with the contractors than Ben.

The 50-year-old actor was seen sporting an orange flannel jacket paired with a black pullover and jeans – the perfect blend of comfort and style.

On the other hand, the 53-year-old singer-actress was wearing a pair of baggy blue cargo pants with a white sweater and a messy bun instead of her usual glamorous attires.

If you recall, the couple was previously engaged 14 years ago in 2002 but split shortly after.

However, the relationship was rekindled in 2021. Since then, the two have been on the search for the perfect forever home for them.

Before this, the two apparently entered escrow for a $34.5 million house, also in Pacific Palisades.

This property is much more expensive than their initial option. At $64 million, it's about double the price, but it does come with additional features such as eight bedrooms and eleven bathrooms.

Perched atop a hill, this home boasts gorgeous views that stretch out to the canyon below. This allows for abundant natural light to illuminate every corner of the residence throughout the day.

The property also has spectacular amenities such as a gym, a professional media room, and a game room with an elevator for convenience. Outdoors you'll find the ultimate backyard oasis featuring a pool and fire pit area, perfect for hosting friends and family.

The total land area is 1.13 acres, which allows plenty of room for the two to entertain. Thanks to its various recreation spaces, the family will be able to effortlessly host countless guests in their new home.

It's also perfect for their blended family. J-Lo is the mother to 15-year-old twins Emme and Max from her marriage with singer Marc Anthony.

Meanwhile, Ben has three kids – Seraphina (17), Violet (14), and Samuel (11) – from his decade-long union with fellow actress Jennifer Garner.

In this mansion, the five children will have plenty of room to move around and certainly enough space to invite their friends over to experience all its features.

If they want to accommodate even more overnight visitors, the estate also offers an inviting guest house just off the driveway for a bit of extra privacy, as well as a three-car garage plus ample driveway space for additional vehicles.

More than that, it's also in close proximity to the home that Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner shared during their marriage.

Online, fans have different reactions. Many are pointing out how "miserable" the couple looks.

Some are more concerned about the price of the mansion itself.

"If I spent 60-odd million on a house - which I wouldn’t - the last thing I’d want to do is still pay and arrange for yet more work to be done on the property. Very little actual land too," says user S1982 from Edinburgh, UK.

User Independentminded22 from Brookline, US, replies, "Not in that zip code but I’m with you, I’d find a place where I did get the space and privacy I want. There are so many more appealing places to own a large, family estate."

Others are also concerned about how the couple can even afford the mansion.

"They must be very confident in their future earning potential. They both are not exactly young anymore and those big Hollywood paychecks are harder to come by as you age," said the user from Pleasanton, US.

"I can’t understand why they’d spend this kind of money… so dumb. They are both older, careers are going to slow down at some point. They should be circling their wagons, not buying a $64 million dollar house," said another user from New Jersey.
