Rush Decorated The House Himself
Zev Chafets' 2010 biography of Limbaugh, An Army of One, describes how the conservative star essentially decorated the home himself.
The Mansion Has Everything

In his words, 'It reflects the things and places he has seen and admired,' Chafets wrote. He noted that the home included a sizable salon designed to evoke Versailles and that the dining room's imposing chandelier duplicated the Plaza Hotel in New York.
According To Chafets' Book
The main house features seven bedrooms, twelve bathrooms, and a two-story library modeled after the Biltmore House in North Carolina, which included wood-painted walls and "cherubs dancing on the ceiling," according to Chafets' book. The library has an elevator as well.
Buyers Like Modern Designs
The home may be deemed a teardown because today's purchasers favor more modern designs, although it is unclear if it has been upgraded since the book was published.
