According to documents, he paid just about $25.4 million for a plot of land of about 1 acre at one of the properties in 2020. In 2021, he paid an unknown sum for the second property, which measures roughly 1.8 acres. The homes on both lots were destroyed.

Beachfront Property's Residences

According to public documents, the beachfront property comprises three residences ------- 1495 North Ocean Boulevard, 1501 North Ocean Boulevard, and 108 Mediterranean Road.

Property's Beach Access

It offers approximately 250 feet of ocean frontage and direct beach access.

Limbaugh's Property Area

According to documents, the property consists of a 16,600-square-foot home, a 2,900-square-foot house, and a 2,200-square-foot house. It has 12 baths and 13 bedrooms in total.

Rooms in the Property

There are also four more guest homes, a guard station, 250 feet of coastline, and a two-story library that is a scaled-down facsimile of the library at the Biltmore Estate in North Carolina. There is a pool, and a putting green included as well.

Limbaugh Buying Rate

According to public records, Mr. Limbaugh, a Republican talk-radio legend who died in 2021, paid $3.9 million for the property in 1998. At that time, Limbaugh was married to Marta Fitzgerald, his third wife.

Rush Decorated The House Himself

Zev Chafets' 2010 biography of Limbaugh, An Army of One, describes how the conservative star essentially decorated the home himself.

The Mansion Has Everything

In his words, 'It reflects the things and places he has seen and admired,' Chafets wrote. He noted that the home included a sizable salon designed to evoke Versailles and that the dining room's imposing chandelier duplicated the Plaza Hotel in New York.

According To Chafets' Book

The main house features seven bedrooms, twelve bathrooms, and a two-story library modeled after the Biltmore House in North Carolina, which included wood-painted walls and "cherubs dancing on the ceiling," according to Chafets' book. The library has an elevator as well.

Buyers Like Modern Designs

The home may be deemed a teardown because today's purchasers favor more modern designs, although it is unclear if it has been upgraded since the book was published.

Limbaugh Had Cancer

Rush had Stage IV advanced lung cancer back in February 2020. He held his final radio program on February 2 and mentioned that another presenter was on call in case his condition worsened.
