Hilarious! Brendan Fraser Drops the F-Bomb and Loses His Fake Teeth on The Tonight Show

On the most recent episode of The Tonight Show, host Jimmy Fallon revived an old character and was joined by Brendan Fraser in the sketch. Fraser played a character named Gilvin of the Tree, who is the sidekick to Fallon's Goat Leg Greg character in a sketch called Pearls of Wisdom.

Goat Leg Greg, a mystical breed, half-goat, and half-man, sits on a jurisdiction chair and passes on his sage-like wisdom on the comedy horror Cocaine Bear and TV series, The Bachelor. 

Gilvin is an elf-like character who plays the recorder and has terrible teeth. Played by Fraser, Gilvin provides the content to Fallon’s character, who is wearing an eye-piece and smoking a pipe. 

The sketch, which depicts a satirical take on recent pop cultural events, presents a critic and does not fear to take a jibe at the performances in question.

The pearls of wisdom focus on the recent snippets of culture, including a take on “shamrock shakes,” which Fallon believes looks like “Yoda with the squirts.” 

Goat Leg Greg also comments on The Bachelor and even goes as far as to say that he slept through most of the film. Gilvin wholeheartedly agrees, much to the delight of the crowd. 

Perhaps, the most iconic part of the commentary comes with Greg shedding light on Bear’s decision to give up Cocaine and start using Marijuana instead. Cocaine Bear is a comedy horror film highlighting the experience of a Bear who starts using Cocaine. 

After Fallon delivered a humorous rhyme about The Bachelor, Fraser commented that he spoke for all of them, before playing the recorder and declaring Fallon was the real star of the sketch.

Fallon’s performance in the sketch has also been the subject of praiseful remarks considering his nonchalant and relaxed approach to unveiling “truths” about recent pop culture news.

The Studio audience celebrates and widely appreciates the efforts of both host Jimmy Fallon and guest star Branden Fraser. Fraser’s performance is notably highlighted by him playing on despite struggling to hold on to props. 

Despite barely being able to utter a word coherently, Fraser keeps on going until he finally loses his fake teeth in a dramatically hilarious moment. 

At this moment, Fraser drops the F-bomb and quickly retreats to insert the fake teeth back into his mouth. The audience roars into a loud cheer, and Fraser’s eyes sparkle at the cameras. 

 At the end of the sketch, Fraser suddenly screamed off the camera, and when the camera panned to him, he was seen falling out of the nest he was perched in. Fallon bids him farewell while trying to maintain concern for him, scrambling to find his footing. 

Fraser’s struggle with performing his lines became a talking point for most fans who were in awe of the actor’s comedic ingenuity and integrity at playing until the end despite his mouth being blocked. 

Fraser also had big shoes to fill because the last time this sketch aired, Ryan Gosling played his character on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon back in 2011. Suffice it to say, his performance did justice to his predecessor’s. 

During an interview with Willie Geist last month, Brendan Fraser, the star of The Mummy, discussed what it was like to share his career success with his three sons. 

In the interview, Fraser reflected on how proud he is to have his family share the success he has had. He also said that it is a bit unfortunate that his sons aren’t familiar with the early successes he has had since they weren’t born yet.
