Gwendlyn Brown Shares Her Devastating Feelings After Robyn's Kids Refuse to See Her

After Season 17 of the reality show Sister Wives was aired, Gwendlyn began sharing recaps of the show on her YouTube channel where she provides her perspective on every episode.

In this week's recap, Gwendlyn sheds light on her disconnected relationship with her father, Kody Brown, and his new wife, Robyn's kids.

Kody Brown, who has had his fair share of marriages, now shares his home with his fourth wife, Robyn Brown, and their five kids.

Kody's kids from his previous marriages complain about their father favoring Robyn's kids - three from her previous marriage and the rest with Kody.

Gwendlyn, who lives in Flagstaff, Arizona, shed light on her relationship with her new half-siblings, saying that although they live in the same city, she has never seen any of her "siblings on Robyn's side."

Recalling the time she invited them to her engagement party, she said, "I invited them to my engagement party, but I don't know if she felt it wouldn't be a safe space for them or they just decided they didn't want to go."

With the kids declining the engagement invitation, Gwendlyn feels that her half-siblings just don't want to see her. "It seems they decided they don't want to see me."

She further continued, "It hurts my feelings obviously, but if I'm not a safe person for them, then I'm not a safe person for them."

As for her other siblings, Gwendlyn revealed, "I see all of the older kids every time they're in town will visit, but, yeah, the rest of us talk completely fine."

Sharing whether her sister, Truly Brown, has a good relationship with their father, she said, "I would be surprised if she had this particularly amazing relationship with my dad. Because the way that he treats his kids on my mom's side, it's just very cast aside."

Talking about the possibility of a positive connection between them, Gwendlyn said, "I don't know 100 percent, but I doubt, strongly doubt, that she has a good relationship with him. And it's not her fault, because she's amazing and perfect in every way."

To avoid any misunderstandings, she included a note in her video clarifying that the "cast aside" comment was for "all of his kids except Robyn's"

This isn't the first time Gwendlyn shared her troubled relationship with her father. In last month's recap, Gwendy shared her reaction to a clip of Long welcoming his and Robyn's children home on their return from school.

Commenting on the video she said, "I know that I should be happy for them, but seeing him be an active father with these kids really hurts. It sucks to not be able to see them."

As for Robyn, Gwendlyn did not shy away from sharing her opinion about her father's new wife, saying, "I don't really like her as a person."

Gwendlyn's parents, Christine and Koby, went their separate ways in November 2021, splitting a marriage of 25 years as a result.

On several occasions, Christine has talked about Kody missing important events of his kid's lives, especially Ysabel's scoliosis surgery.

Sharing details about her mother's love life, Gwendlyn filled her followers in on her mother's new boyfriend, David Wooley.

Talking about David, she referred to her mother's Valentine's Day post saying, "She's talking to a shawty right now. You guys have probably seen the post about it."
