A Rare Red Carpet Appearance: Courteney Cox & Daughter Coco Arquette!

The stylish duo posed together for photographers. Courteney, 58, wore an all-black ensemble consisting of a mini dress, a velvet blazer, tights, and pumps.

Her 18-year-old mini-me, who is her only child with ex-husband David Arquette, chose a low-cut red corset dress and black platform sandals.

Both ladies looked so pretty with their matching loose center-parted hairstyles as they held hands on the red carpet and smiled for the cameras.

Scream VI marks Courteney’s return to her role as journalist Gale Weathers, which she first popularized in 1996. She has appeared in all six movies of the Scream franchise, the only character to have done so.

Up until the fifth movie, she had starred alongside fellow original cast members, Neve Campbell and her ex, David.

David’s character was killed off in the fifth sequel, while Neve opted not to return to the sixth due to a salary dispute.

In an interview with Variety, Courteney addressed Neve’s decision, saying, “I missed working with her, but I’m going to support whatever she feels is right.”

In the latest sequel, Gale clashes with Ghostface in New York City.

She revealed some details in her interview.

“I have a really good scene with Ghostface and it was amazing,” she said.

“I’ve obviously been stabbed many times and all that, but this time, to work with Ghostface and not know who’s under the mask, it was really fun. Usually by the time I’m getting stabbed, I know who it is,” she continued.

On her role as Gale, she said, “She still lives in New York, which is great because now the killer’s in New York, just as Sam and Tara have moved there.”

In Scream VI, Courteney stars was alongside Melissa Barrera (who plays Sam), Jenna Ortega (Tara), Devyn Nekoda, and Liana Liberato at the premiere.

Melissa sent temperatures soaring in a black gown with multiple cutouts, which she teamed with a retro updo.

Jenna looked fashion-forward in a black-and-white ensemble consisting of a tux jacket layered over a shirt unbuttoned halfway down to expose a lot of skin.

Devyn got majorly vampy in a see-through black corset dress teamed with sheer tights. There was definitely a lot of skin action going on there!

Liana went the flirty route as well in an asymmetrical look that was half gown and half bodysuit. She styled it with sheer tights and strappy sandals.

Hayden Panettiere, who also returns to the franchise as Kirby Reed, hit the red carpet in a long black satin coat layered over a matching mini dress.

Another star making an appearance at the premiere was Demi Lovato, who wrote a song for the film’s soundtrack. She donned a curve-hugging black gown with statement-making sleeves that reached down to the floor.

Scream VI will be released in theaters on March 10.
