Kerry Washington Captivates in Sheer Floral Lace Dress at UnPrisoned Premiere

Washington looked beautiful with her natural black hair worn in a curly afro and face made up lightly with nude colors. She accessorized by wearing green accent jewelry from her dangling earrings to her rings.

Washington's statement dress had a plunging V-neckline with frilly bow sleeves matching the multicolored floral patterns on the sheer lace material. The dress had a short fishtail mini-train covering her legs.

The actress' Elie Saab dress outlined her toned legs and abs through its sheer material, proving Pilates isn't wasted on her.

The actress told Women's Health she's not a big fan of visiting the gym, so she found a healthy alternative to keep her figure fit. Pilates helped her balance health and fitness so that she didn't risk the common abuse of using the gym.

Washington starred as Delroy Lindo's daughter in UnPrisoned, a comedy series about a relationship therapist living as a single mother with her recently released-from-prison father.

The actress, who's been married for ten years to former NFL player, Nnamdi Asomugha, is preparing to celebrate a decade of love with her spouse. However, she wants it to be under the radar, much like the details of their marriage.

Washington is proud of her ability to keep her marriage private after ten years of union. They tied the knot in a private ceremony in 2013 and welcomed two children, Isabelle (8) and Caleb (6).

The 46-year-old is also a stepmother to Asomugha's 17-year-old child from a previous relationship. The children's existence is as private as their parent's relationship, and the Save the Last Dance actress would like to keep it like that.

Recently, Washington and her husband have been making more public appearances with increased new projects. However, that's not to say they've broken the veil over the intimate details of their life.

As Washington said in an old interview with Marie Claire, separating work from her private life helps her stay grounded when she's off-screen.

If you thought Washington was tightlipped about her marriage, then you've not met Asomugha, who's even more elusive. The actor recently starred in the Netflix movie, The Good Nurse alongside Jessica Chastain and Eddie Redmayne.

Although they appear together at industry events, the couple rarely discusses their relationship. Their devotion to each other is visible in how they show up for themselves at award shows and occasionally movie premieres.

Spring came early for Washington who wore another floral print dress for the Critics Choice awards two months ago.

The actress stunned in a silver dress decorated with blue and pink sequins made into floral arrangements. The column dress had a sleeveless sweetheart neckline with a plunge in the center.

Like her UnPrisoned premiere look, Washington chose an afro hairstyle for the night but with more drama. She pulled her hair into a low ponytail with a deep center part highlighting her neutrally made-up face.

A subtle statement is the theme of the year for the 46-year-old as she dazzled with silver-dropping earrings to match her sequin dress.

Washington teased UnPrisoned for months before its release and incorporated its promotion into her fun Instagram videos.
