Actress and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, Garcelle Beauvais, has recently revealed some interesting details about her ongoing feud with co-star Erika Jayne.
The 56-year-old star made an appearance on Sherri Shepherd’s talk show and spoke about her role in the upcoming season of RHOBH, which is currently in production.
During their conversation, Sherri couldn’t help but question Garcelle about her beef with co-star Erika and whether the two are filming any scenes together.
Speaking about her feud, Garcelle told Sherri that the new season holds hope for both stars. But Sherri being the pot-stirrer, asked whether the two actresses were a little cold to each other.
"Did you side-eye each other?" Sherri asked. Garcelle burst out laughing and admitted that the two, indeed, side-eyed one another.
The Jamie Foxx show alum detailed the impact of her fight with Erika, saying that it took a toll on her both emotionally and mentally during the filming of season 12.
Previously, the tensions between the two actresses reached new heights. This was thanks to Erika drunkenly yelling at Garcelle’s 15-year-old son to leave his mother’s 55th birthday party.
Apparently, Erika couldn’t keep her hands to herself and decided to flirt with the other son of her archnemesis. Both her sons, Oliver and Jax, were made uncomfortable by her inappropriate behavior, which led to a heated confrontation between the two.
Erika decided to stir some off-screen drama by dumping a copy of Garcelle’s famous memoir into the trash. And to take things further, she called out Garcelle by tagging her in the caption.
The NYPD Blue actress claimed that the new season had given the two a new chance to mend things and start over. She hopes to restore her relationship with the younger actress.
In response to Sherri about what she thinks of co-actress Lisa’s decision to leave the hit Bravo series, Garcelle said, “'I'm good. Yeah, I'm so good. Period. You know what, listen, she came on the show and made her mark, but now it's time for new.”
Upon her decision to leave, Lisa decided to throw some humorous shade at her fellow actors Garcelle and Sutton Stracke. She told them to start coming to work on time in her absence
In a rather fiery response, Garcelle told Sherri that she has been showing up, which is why she and Sutton are considered the favorites of the production team.
Apparently, Andy Cohen had to halt production over the angry exchanges that took place between the two ladies.
Kathy Hilton also engaged in some not-so-pleasant dialogue with Lisa. Lisa claimed that she’d said some ill things about Kyle and his family.
About a month after Andy had decided to take a break from production, Lisa announced that she had discussed her departure with Bravo and decided on it.
The real reason why Lisa decided to part ways with RHOBH was that she didn’t like her portrayal in the 12th season.
Lisa said that her co-star had a meltdown off-camera in Aspen that nobody knows about. She said that she just wanted to speak the truth.
Fans took to social media and urged Garcelle to bring the same fiery energy to season 13 as she did in her response to Lisa Rinna.
It’s clear that Garcelle won’t be longing for Lisa’s presence on the show after all the ill remarks.
Garcelle will keep working on RHOBH alongside NYPD Blue, and to her fans’ pleasure, she doesn’t plan on leaving either show anytime soon.
