Ozzy Osbourne is clarifying all the rumors concerning his health, as fans have raised concerns about the Rock and Roll superstar. . Ozzy Osbourne spoke with co-host, Billy Morrison, on the most recent episode of SiriusXM's Ozzy Speaks and provided an update on his health and touring plans.

Ozzy On His Recovery

On the show, Ozzy revealed;

“I’ve been working my guts out to try and get back on my feet. I’ve come to the point where Sharon says to me, You know what, the truth of the marriage, you can't keep booking tours and failing, canceling," the singing legend said. 

On Making Difficult Decision

Osbourne decided to call it quits on his touring earlier this month. The 74-year-old rocker used social media to update his fans on his struggle with Parkinson's disease after receiving the diagnosis in early 2020.

The Hardest Thing He Had To Do

"This is probably one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to share with my loyal fans," he began the message. "

His Major Accident

"As you may all know, four years ago, this month, I had a major accident, where I damaged my spine. My one and only purpose during this time has been to get back onstage."

He continued.

Where The Problem Lies

Osbourne stated that his singing voice was "fine," but added that his body was still "physically weak" following three operations.

Why He Won't Be Touring

He continued by saying that he was "not physically capable" of finishing the onstage performances for his European and British tour dates as well as the necessary travel to get there.

Would Ozzy Still Go On Tour?

According to Osbourne, touring is still a possibility;

“So, if I can ever get back to where I can tour again, fine. But right now, if you said to me, ‘Can you go on the road in a month?’ I couldn't say yes. I mean, if I could tour, I'd tour.

Can Ozzy Pull A Tour Now?

" But right now, I can't book tours because right now, I don't think I could pull them off.”

Addressing Several Speculations About His Health

The superstar also addressed the numerous speculations that are bothering him;

"The f**king press drive you nuts," he said. "I mean, I looked in the magazine, 'Ozzy's on his last legs.' I'm f**king not dying… Come on, guys. Haven't I had it bad enough already?

His Tour Situation

The musical legend added that it would take at least six months to prepare the tour, even if his doctor said he would be able to hit the road again.

On Making His Parkinson's Diagnosis Public

In January 2020, Osbourne made his Parkinson's diagnosis public on Good Morning America, joined by his wife Sharon and kids Jack and Kelly.

Not A Death Sentence

The Osbourne patriarch has Parkinson's disease PRKN2, a subtype, according to Sharon during the interview, but it's "not a death sentence by any stretch of the imagination."

Sharon On Watching Her Husband Deal With Parkinson's

Also, Osbourne's wife, Sharon, spoke out in October 2022 about how difficult it was to watch her husband struggle physically after receiving a Parkinson's diagnosis.

How Life Stops

"I just think of my husband, who was very energetic, loved to go out for walks, did a two-hour show onstage every night, running around like a crazy man," she told English broadcaster Jeremy Paxman in ITV's Paxman: Putting Up With Parkinson's. Suddenly, your life just stops -- life as you knew it." 

Sharon Gets Emotional When She Sees Her Husband Struggling

She continued,

"When I look at my husband, my heart breaks for him. I'm sad for myself to see him that way, but what he goes through is worse. When I look at him and he doesn't know I'm looking at him, I'm, like, crying."

Grammy Winner

Ozzy Osbourne continues to win GRAMMY awards despite his health problems. With Patient Number 9, the rocker won the 2023 GRAMMY for Best Rock Album.

His Producer Got The Award On His Behalf

He defeated ,the Black Keys (Dropout Boogie), Elvis Costello & The Imposters (The Boy Named If), Idles (Crawler), Machine Gun Kelly (Mainstream Sellout), and Spoon (Lucifer on the Sofa).

Osbourne's producer Andrew Watt accepted the trophy on his behalf, thanking the late Jeff Beck and Taylor Hawkins for their support of the album.

What Winning Means To Him

When Morrison asked Osbourne what winning the awards meant he revealed;

“It's an award. It's, like, film has the Oscars –  music has the GRAMMYs. I'm not saying I don't like 'em, but I wish I could tour to back it up. ‘Cause I'm sitting at home, I'm getting these awards and he's OK. I don't mind it. It cheers me up a little bit for a few days," Osbourne said.

The Osbournes Relocates

As they started filming the pilot episode of their new reality series, Home to Roost, the Osbourne family permanently relocated back to the UK.
