Kelly Ripa and Husband Mark Consuelos Reunited on Live: 'It Feels Full Circle'

The 52-year-old talk show host has made major headlines this month as Live! With Kelly and Ryan cohost, Ryan Seacrest, confirms his exit from the daytime talk show. His replacement? None other than Kelly's 1996-married husband, Mark.

Speaking of where things stand after meeting Mark on All My Children 28 years ago, Kelly stated: "Mark and I owe everything we have in our professional lives to ABC. We met there at the beginning of our careers and got married and had our kids while there."

The mom of three continued: "So many wonderful moments have happened while with ABC, so it only makes sense for us to come full circle and work together, once again, for the show that has given us so much joy and so many years of memories."

Kelly and Mark didn't take long to elope to Las Vegas, NV - they tied the knot in 1996 and haven't looked back! Together, Kelly and Mark share three children: Michael, Lola, and Joaquin.

While fans are nowhere near done gushing over these two on social media, they're going to get the IRL version. "ABC has been eager to replace Seacrest with Mark," an insider dished to Daily Mail, adding: "Viewers can't get enough watching the sparks between them whenever he fills in for Ryan."

Ryan has confirmed that he's exiting Live! after six years as host. Kelly, meanwhile, has been holding the fort since her join back in 2001.

The American Idol host has made a statement regarding his departure. Seacrest, 48, stated: "It's been a memorable ride and now I'm excited to pass the baton to Kelly's 'real' husband, Mark," per Daily Mail.

Kelly and Mark, who share a $27 million NYC townhouse, remain massively popular for their sneaky PDAs on Instagram.

The A-Listers are also a huge hit at red carpet events. Kelly is one year older than her CW star hubby, 51.

Kelly has regularly had her husband as a guest on the series she hosts, and the figures don't lie. Tweets spiked 243% on January 30 - big surprise, it was Mark as guest.

Kelly and Mark are also adored for keeping their family life in the public eye, although they have made pandemic headlines for being empty nesters - all three children have now left home.

Ryan was initially signed for three years on Live! Turns out, he was so into it, he doubled his time as Kelly's trusty sidekick.

Addressing his IG followers, the former Keeping Up With The Kardashians producer said:

"When I signed on to host Live in 2017 it was meant to be for 3 years, but I loved the job and working with Kelly so much that I extended my time and last year."

Ryan also confirmed that working with Kelly had been his "dream job."
