Gia Giudice Slams Uncle Joe Gorga For 'Opportunist' Reunion With Her Dad

Gia is the eldest daughter of Joe's sister and fellow reality TV star, Teresa Giudice.

The two Joes feud stems from tensions with their wives who are sisters-in-law. Teresa always believed her brother's wife, Melissa, "stole" her brother from her. Their war of words traces back to 2011.

During Melissa's debut on their reality TV show, Real Housewives of New Jersey, Joe called his sister 'garbage' at his son's christening leading the other Joe (Giudice) to react. They got into a fight which started the great divide between the families.

After years of back and forth, the Gorgas and Giudices got into another full-blown argument when the latter's legal troubles started. Joe and Melissa never supported Joe Giudice when he got deported in Season 10 of RHONJ.

Joe also believes Teresa's ex-husband, Joe Giudice, ruined his sister's relationship with their parents because of her stint in jail. A court convicted her of fraud alongside Joe Giudice, and her brother claims it led their parents to an early grave.

The Gorgas' actions upset Teresa and her children, Gia, Gabriella, Audriana, and Milania, leading them to cut the Gorgas off. When Teresa remarried in 2022, she didn't ask her sister-in-law to join her bridal train so, Melissa skipped the wedding.

When confronted about his choice of words and actions towards his former brother-in-law, Joe Gorga said he confronted them in defense of his sister. The reality TV star said Teresa's revelation about her upcoming divorce (then) fueled his anger.

Although there have been tensions between the adults, Gia, Teresa's eldest child joined in the feud and openly spoke out against her uncle. She called him disrespectful towards her father and it made her dissociate from his family.

Yesterday, Joe shared a video via his Instagram story showing a chance meeting between him and Giudice at a bar. The men squashed their decade-long beef and embraced each other.

Gorga wrote that they entered the same bar at the same time without planning and were pleased to see each other doing well in good health. Someone filmed them as they caught up on old times and he decided to share the good moment with his almost one million followers.

While many followers were impressed, Gia wasn't. The 22-year-old replied her uncle's post and had a lot to say! She started by disputing his claim about it being a chance meeting because they interacted for less than "5 minutes."

Gia also found it odd that someone was conveniently around to film the exchange despite Gorga's claims of ignorance. She went on to accuse her uncle of speaking poorly about her father at every opportunity.

Gia said Gorga took advantage of his "once in a lifetime opportunity" to gain internet validation which upset her. The 43-year-old replied saying her father wasn't innocent either because he'd said "horrible" things about him in the past.

However, Joe is willing to move on from the bad blood and create new memories. He ended his note saying Gia should get hate out of her heart. This exchange didn't go unnoticed by RHONJ fans and they chimed in via replies.

One user said it's unforgivable for Joe Gorga to have accused his former brother-in-law of killing his parents, and Gia was adult enough to give her opinion.

The other group didn't want Gia to fight what they deemed as Teresa's battles. They asked her to stay out of adults' business but the 22-year-old didn't budge.

Melissa earlier commented on the exchange although she claimed later that it was Joe using her Instagram account on accident. Once she received backlash, the businesswoman deleted her comments and stayed out of the drama.

It was just last winter that Gia and Joe allegedly buried the hatchet after they got into another heated argument while filming the last RHONJ season.

With the way things are going with their family, the feud between the Gorgas and Giudices isn't ending anytime soon, and it's spilling into the second generation.
