Allison Pays Tribute To Late Husband In Touching Video

On Saturday, Allison took to her Instagram page with an emotional video about her late husband. In the clip, Allison began by appreciating her followers for their love and support toward her and her family.

Allison noted that it had been very emotional and challenging, but her supporters brought hope and inspiration to family members by sharing stories, moments, memories, and ways Stephen impacted their lives.

Next, Allison confessed that her husband "lived his life from love" and made everyone feel a certain way. The mom of three then relayed that she and her family always wanted to ensure they lived out their purpose by bringing joy to people.

Next, Allison admitted that, although it would feel a bit different without Stephen, they knew their purpose, and it would never end. She also talked about how important it was to choose love, grace, and kindness.

Allison wrapped up the emotional video by promising her supporters to always be there for them, after which she reminded them of how special they were and how much of an impact they made worldwide.

Allison's tribute to her late husband came a few days after Stephen was honored with a celebration of life service held in Los Angeles on February 12, 2023. 

The tear-jerking event occurred two months after the television producer died at 40. The gathering, which saw the likes of AJ McLean, Derek Hough, and Wade Robson in attendance, was full of prayer, dance, and fond memories.

Comedian and TV host Ellen DeGeneres was also in attendance and addressed the guests as she spoke about her love for Stephen. Ellen wasn't the only one from that show that made it.

Loni Love, Wayne Brady, Robin Antin, several So You Think You Can Dance cast and crew, and the entire Ellen DeGeneres Show cast and crew graced the event.

The celebration of life service also saw video tributes from Debbie Allen, a legend in the dance community, and Jeff Thacker, who officiated Stephen and Allison's 2013 wedding.

Besides the video tributes, attendees witnessed performances from musicians, Mickey Guyton and Andy Grammer. Allison, who stood with her 14-year-old daughter, Weslie, also had a few words to say.

The widow revealed her husband was the light, adding that he chose love, grace, and kindness and deserved to be celebrated. Allison then distributed Move With Kindness wristbands to spread the word about the initiative.

Allison created the organization to carry Stephen's legacy by spreading love and mental health awareness. The event lasted two hours and was incredibly memorable.

A few hours after the celebration of life service, Derek, who danced with Stephen on the NBC show World of Dance, took to his Instagram page to pay tribute to his late friend. 

Derek shared two photos of him and Stephen alongside a caption addressing the event that occurred hours before. The dancer noted that the love felt in the room was palpable, and the speeches were pure.

Derek relayed that the celebration of Stephen's life was a rollercoaster of emotions, adding that he admired Allison, who demonstrated grace, strength, and courage.

The dancer wrapped up the emotional post by thanking the grieving widow for allowing everyone to share in such a vulnerable moment before writing, "We love you tWitch."

Besides Derek, former So You Think You Can Dance contestant Mollee Gray made mention of the service on TikTok, describing the event as heartbreaking, funny, and inspirational. 

Stephen will always be missed by his friends and loved ones, especially his wife, to whom he was married to for nine years. The couple shared three kids, Weslie, Maddox, and Zaia.
