Couple Heather Rae And Tarek El Moussa Welcome Their Baby Boy

A Baby Boy
The picture in the post showed the couple holding hands as they cradled their infant. The baby is the couple's first shared biological child.
"Our baby boy is here," they wrote, adding he was born Tuesday. "Mama & baby are happy, healthy, tired but doing well. Our hearts are so happy."

How His Name Was Changed
According to Heather's Instagram post, Tarek was originally going to be named Tristan; as a result, they decided on Tarek. The star of Selling Sunset further asserts that Jay is her newborn's middle name and her father's middle name.

Heather talked about Tristan's birth and how difficult it was for her to give birth. When their son's movements in the womb slowed down, Heather claimed she was "rushed" to the hospital while she was at a doctor's appointment four days after her due date.
She Had An Induced Labor
Heather needed medical assistance to speed up labor once she got to the hospital.
Birthing Complications
"I had scar tissue built up from a biopsy I had years ago, which affected my cervix softening & water breaking. Once at the hospital I was given 1/2 a pill of Cytotec to soften cervix, balloon went in. 2 hours later I was dilated to a 4. Balloon fell out, then 3 hours later dilated to a 6, then a few minutes an 8 then 15 minutes later my water broke,"
the new mom shared.
The Terrifying Moment
"It was time to push!! it all happened really fast. Tristan's heart rate was dropping very low every time I'd push & was staying low. Which was terrifying," she continued. "My doctor told me that we had to get him out right away.
She Had Four Pushes
"I had 4 more pushes and to give it my all & she was going to use a vacuum to help get him out fast or otherwise we would have to do an emergency C-section."
How Her Support System Stayed With Her
Heather noted how her husband stood by her side and talked her through the entire delivery.
In A State Of Shock
"I pushed so hard all the blood vessels broke in my face and chest," she wrote. "Tarek yelled I see his head, push push push. Our baby boy came out healthy and beautiful, I was in a state of shock it was a surreal experience. I was emotional and drained and so in love already."
Recalling Tarek's Birth
Heather and Tarek initially revealed these specifics and pictures to Us Weekly.
Taylor, 12, and Brayden, 7, are already in Tarek's care and belong to him and his ex-wife Christina Hall. Tristan's birth was still strange for now three-time father, even though he had witnessed the births of his other children.
A Beautiful Feeling
"I knew it was happening, but … it was like a feeling that I didn’t even know [could happen]. And it was just such a beautiful thing."
He told Us Weekly.
The Joy Of Motherhood
In addition, the star of Selling Sunset talked openly about giving birth.
"Having my own and carrying him and then going through the labor … it’s just such a beautiful thing that the female body can do."

After exchanging vows in October 2021, Tarek and the star of Selling Sunset started trying for a child and openly discussed their IVF journey with fans.
They announced their pregnancy in July 2022 and held a gender reveal party.

The Flip or Flop star claimed that he and Heather had discussed their baby's gender for weeks in advance, with Heather acknowledging that she "knew it deep down" that he was a boy.

The two went on a romantic getaway in October to celebrate their wedding anniversary (which also served as a babymoon, of course), and while they awaited his arrival, Selling Sunset was nominated for The Reality Show of 2022 at the People's Choice Awards, where they went out for a fancy red carpet date night in December.

While boating in Newport Beach, California in 2019, the new parents connected.

“We were both on separate boats in Newport,” Heather explained in an anniversary Instagram post in 2022. “I was with some of my close friends, and he was with his, and I randomly, by chance, ended up jumping onto Tarek’s boat… Little did we know that moment would change both of our lives forever.”
Their New Show
The couple announced on December 3 of last year that they were starting a new HGTV show called "The Flipping El Moussas," describing it as a new chapter in their lives.
A trailer for the new series, which teases that it will follow their pregnancy and work as realtors, was included in the post, which announced that "The Flipping El Moussas" will premiere in March.
