Shemar Moore And Newborn Daughter Pay Touching Tribute To Late Mother Marilyn

Shemar became a dad for the first time recently. In his first weeks of fatherhood, the actor couldn't wait to introduce his little daughter, Frankie, to his late mother, Marilyn. Now, a few weeks after the infant's arrival, Shemar has taken Frankie to her grandma's grave.

The actor took to his Instagram page to share the emotional photo, which featured him, Jesiree, and Frankie, posing by a plaque on a lawn that read, "This house is my son's home. Mom. 1-26-20." In the second slide, Shemar added a sweet image of Marilyn.

The Criminal Minds star accompanied the photos with a lengthy but beautiful caption. He began by confessing that it was always his mother's dream for him to become a father and give her some grandkids. Shemar added that although it took "a minute," Marilyn's dream finally became a reality.

Next, Shemar revealed that he accomplished much and experienced the good, great, the light, and the dark, but he couldn't do it alone. The Young and the Restless star went ahead to comment on his romance with Jesiree.

Shemar explained that he and his partner returned to each other's lives and found love again, eventually creating a magical little human whom he would call "my little miracle."

A few weeks before Frankie's birth, Shemar shared his happy baby news on the Jennifer Hudson Show, revealing that his daughter was due around the third anniversary of his beloved mother's death.

The actor explained that the thought of Marilyn not being alive to hold her grandkids made him feel sorry. However, he took consolation in the joy that Frankie would bring and how lit his life would have been if she was still around.
