Kaley Cuoco's Unconventional Prep For Becoming A Mom

During a recent chat with Entertainment Tonight, Kaley opened up about the third trimester of her pregnancy. The soon-to-be mom of one confessed that while her bundle of joy was set to arrive sometime in spring, she hadn't done much research about parenting.

The Big Bang Theory star confessed, "I have no plan and I've read zero books, so that's the type of mom I will be." The actress went ahead to mention that she was many things but a prepper and had always been that way.

Next, Kaley expressed optimism, noting that parenting would be great as she trusted the process. She added that although the depths of parenting information on the internet were educating, it was far too overwhelming for her.

Kaley said she had gone through life by staying chilled, believing everything would be great.

"I think, nowadays, we get so caught up, right? We didn't even have all this stuff at our fingertips, and now it's almost too much," she added.

While Kaley has made no plans for parenting, it was quite the opposite for her partner, Tom. The 8 Simple Rules Star disclosed that Tom had done enough research for both of them, jokingly adding that her man could deliver the baby at that point.

Besides her partner, Kaley has good and experienced friends that she can count on for parenting tips. The actress relayed that not long ago, she was on the phone with one of her girlfriends, who also had a newborn, because she had to ask about something.

I said, 'I don’t know what I'm gonna do,' and she goes, 'Your baby's gonna tell you what to do.' And I love that," she continued.

In addition to her amazing circle of friends, The Flight Attendant star plans to have much support from her amazing mother, who has been waiting for a grandchild "for like 20 years." In the meantime, Kaley's goal is to work until the end of her third trimester.

Kaley first announced the news of her pregnancy via Instagram in October 2022. In the exciting post, she uploaded an array of snapshots showing her and Tom celebrating the pregnancy by cutting a pink frosted cake from an apparent gender reveal party.

Since the big announcement, Kaley has kept her fans updated about her pregnancy journey through a series of social media posts. The actress' fans await the baby's arrival and wish her a safe delivery.
