John Legend and Chrissy Teigen welcomed their little bundle of joy, Esti Maxine Stephens, last month, and it's been pure bliss since then. Now, the proud father of three is spilling major details about his daughter's name in an interview with Jennifer Hudson, and we can't wait to tell you all about it.

The award-winning artist opened up on The Jennifer Hudson Show about his little girl's name.
"My great-grandmother was named Esther, and my grandmother's middle name was Maxine, so we incorporated two of my ancestors into her name," he says of his daughter, whom he's very excited to welcome into the family.
Esti's older siblings are also handling the new addition to their family perfectly, as Legend expressed his pleasant surprise.
"They're being so good with her. We were worried because they seemed a little jealous when Chrissy was pregnant and I was worried they wouldn't be excited to welcome her home, but they have exceeded our expectations of how loving and excited they are," as he confirmed they're truly excited to be older siblings.
Legend expressed his and Teigen's decision to be open about their challenges with expanding their family, following the tragic loss of their son, Jack, in 2020. Legend felt it helped families going through the same situation that they're not alone in the struggle, and will surely find solace through their openness.
The singer confirmed that he and Teigen conceived their children through IVF, and they've also had a fair share of pregnancy loss, which is why they've been an open book through it all.
A source revealed to ET that the new parents are doing incredible as parents, and it's an exciting time for them as a family.
"This is such an exciting time for them as a couple, and as a family. They love being parents and are thrilled to be able to expand their family."
The model, who's famous for always cheering her husband on at events and concerts, was visibly absent at the 2023 Grammy Awards on Feb 5. at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, as she had her hands full of taking care of Esti Maxine Stephens.
She shared a sweet picture of her cuddling Maxine on the couch and revealed she had a dress fitting but couldn't make it to the event.
"happy grammy day!! had a dress fitting, looked around and realized….what the hell am I trying to prove here. I cannot get up lol."
Legend was in the comments showing his support for her decision and telling her how good she looked.
The 12-time Grammy winner scored three nominations this year for Song of the Year, Best Rap Performances and Best Rap Song for God Did with DJ Khaled, Rick Ross, Lil Wayne, Jay Z and Fridayy.
The 44-year-old hopped on stage with the remaining artists on God Did at the Grammys, and brought the roof down in an electric performance with everyone on the edge of their seats. We're sure Teigen cheered from home, as well.
