Weeks after Lisa Marie Presley's tragic death in January, half-brother Navarone Garibaldi reflected on his family's loss.
Unlike Lisa Marie, Garibaldi did not grow up in the spotlight. Son of Marco Garibaldi and Priscilla Presley, Navarone managed to largely stay out of the public eye, though he too eventually began a career as a musician.
Following Lisa Marie's death due to an apparent cardiac arrest, Garibaldi attended a memorial in her name at Graceland on January 22nd.
Priscilla is also in the process of contesting her daughter's will. In 2016, Lisa Marie changed her will to include her children, Benjamin and Riley Keough, as sole trustees. Benjamin passed away in 2020, leaving Riley as the sole trustee.
In more recent years, Navarone and Lisa Marie had drifted apart.
"Riley has been so good with the twins," Garibaldi said, in reference to Lisa Marie's youngest daughters, 14-year-old twins Finley and Harper. He did not comment on the will dispute between Riley and Priscilla.
"I know the past couple years weren’t easy for you, and I wish things had been different between us. regardless, you are my sister and I’m sending love and prayers for your journey home," he wrote in the caption to the post, which included a picture of himself as a toddler alongside Lisa Marie.
Lisa Marie had a history of opioid abuse and had allegedly begun using the substance again in the months leading to her death.
As of now, Presley's cause of death is unknown as her family awaits a toxicology report.
