Andrew Shue's Son Breaks Silence After Amy Robach's Departure from GMA3

Andrew's son, Nate, clearly wants to get over the relationship scandal between his stepmother and Holmes. On Saturday, the 26-year-old posted a GIF on his Instagram. The GIF was of Jimmy Fallon saying, "Let's just move on." Nate's cryptic message came a day after the departure of the duo from the third hour of the morning show.

The 49-year-old departed GMA3 with her co-anchor turned lover, Holmes. On Friday, a spokesperson for the network read a statement. The statement revealed they had productive conversations with the duo. After weighing options, it was concluded "that they should move on from ABC News."

Per Page Six, in an email memo gotten that day, ABC president Kim Godwin talked about the scandal. She called it a distraction and poured out her gratitude for other staff's professionalism. The memo also noted an announcement about Holmes and Robach's replacements will come later.

The co-anchors' off-screen relationship was made public in November 2022. That same month, it was revealed that Robach almost finalized her divorce from Andrew. The duo got married in 2010 and share custody of their Maltipoo, Brody.  Holmes on the other hand also got married in 2010. He married Fiebig and three years later, they welcomed their daughter, Sabine. In December 2022, Holmes filed for divorce from Fiebig.

Earlier this month, the 45-year-old lawyer broke her silence via her divorce lawyer, Stephanie Lehman. She said her client was disappointed by Holmes's lack of sensitivity and respect. Fiebig also referred to her 10-year-old daughter, Sabine as her sole focus. Holmes has allegedly been involved with other staffers before. In 2015, he allegedly got intimate with several junior staffers at work. 

Holmes joined ABC in 2014 and became a regular cohost of GMA3 in September 2020. While Robach joined ABC in 2012 and joined GMA's third hour in March 2020. A source shared that their friendship blossomed off-camera due to their work trips. In June 2022, the duo went for the Daytime Emmy Awards. They also visited London to cover Queen Elizabeth II's  Platinum Jubilee.

In December 2022, a source shared the spark between the due was obvious in the office. Daily Mail published pictures of the duo in November 2022. They were caught getting cozy with Holmes touching Robach's backside in one photo. 

After the couple's cozy photos went public, they returned to GMA and teased about the weekend. The duo has lost a lot of friends who are also coworkers due to the scandal. A source shared the couple only trusts each other and is sticking together.

Holmes and Robach were pulled from GMA3 due to their continuous scandal. As for when they will return on air, at the time, sources shared that an investigation was still ongoing. The network was said to be looking into when and how their relationship started. This also included investigating if they ignited their romance at work and if it has been a distraction.
