Three years after their $2 million divorce, William Shatner and his ex-wife Elizabeth Martin have reconciled. The 91-year-old Star Trek actor reconnected with Elizabeth, 64, and the two went to the Living Legends of Aviation Awards together in Beverly Hills earlier this month.

“My wife… she is the zest of life, she brings the flavor,” Shatner spoke to The Mirror at the event, ostensibly confirming the couple's reconciliation. After some discussion on the best way to characterize that "spice," William joked, "Mustard?" and Elizabeth responded, "Cinnamon." The duo is thought to have attended their first red carpet occasion since their reunion at the John Travolta-hosted Aviation Awards.
The actor received the Aviation Inspiration and Patriotism Award at the ceremony in recognition of becoming the oldest person to travel to space after boarding Jeff Bezos' Blue Origin rocket in October 2021.
Shatner informed reporters after they returned to Earth, “It was unbelievable. To see the blue color go right by you, and then you’re staring at blackness, that’s the thing… It was so moving.”
It wasn't the first time speculations of a reconciliation between the two had surfaced before the appearance at the event. Shatner suggested it in a May 2021 interview with The Guardian.
For his 90th birthday, Martin reportedly joined him as well. Whatever the case, it's fantastic to see the pair back together.
After 19 years of marriage, William and Elizabeth signed a divorce agreement in March 2020.
According to their prenuptial agreement, he also gave Elizabeth a lump sum payment of $2 million for spousal support, according to TMZ.
William kept his Studio City house and a ranch in Three Rivers, California, as part of the settlement (near Sequoia National Park). Elizabeth received a piece of her family's farm in Indiana and their homes in Versailles, Kentucky, and Malibu Cove.
She also kept a 2014 Ford Explorer, a 2007 BMW X5, and a 2015 Mercedes-Benz ML65.
Gloria Rand was William's first wife from 1956 until their divorce in 1969; they had three kids together: Leslie, Lisabeth, and Melanie.
His third wife, Nerine Kidd Shatner, whom he married in 1997, was his second wife, Marcy Lafferty, whom he was married to from 1973 to 1996.
She drowned accidentally in their swimming pool in August 1999 when her 40-year-old body tested positive for alcohol and Valium. However, after two years, in 2001, he wed Elizabeth.
William was most recognized for his role as James T. Kirk, Captain of Star Trek, in the animated series from 1973 to 1974. He played the part from 1966 to 1969. In seven motion pictures from 1979 to 1994, he played Captain Kirk.
The Canadian has succeeded in music and philanthropy and appeared in several other programs, such as TJ Hooker.
