Amy Robach and T. J. Holmes’s affair is only getting hotter following their exit from GMA3.
The former co-anchors have been fired by ABC over their headline-making office romance, but the lovebirds seemed unperturbed as they happily packed on the PDA just hours after the network made the announcement.
Daily Mail has exclusively obtained photos showing Robach, 49, and Holmes, 45, embracing and kissing while out in Los Angeles on Friday, a day after they sat down with ABC execs for a mediation session and hours after the network confirmed they were being let go.
She was wearing a gray cardigan, high-waisted pants, and tan heels, while he sported a black hoodie and blue jeans. At one point, she wrapped her legs around him as he lifted her up.
On the same day, ABC released a statement announcing the network’s decision following the previous day’s mediation session. It said, “After several productive conversations with Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes about different options, we all agreed it’s best for everyone that they move on from ABC News.”
The statement continued, “We recognize their talent and commitment over the years and are thankful for their contributions.”
An email sent out to staff also stated that the network has not come to a decision yet as to who will replace them on GMA3 and 20/20.
Meanwhile, an insider told ET that Robach’s and Holmes’s departure didn’t come as a surprise.
“No one wanted it to come to this, but derogatory information just kept coming up,” the source said. “Once the investigation went several weeks, most people knew that this would be the outcome.”
The source also said, “Ties are severed. T.J.'s issues got all the headlines but Amy is no angel.”
However, both will reportedly be given compensation packages.
ABC’s decision concludes two months of discussion as to what the pair’s fate in the network would be after it was discovered that they were having an affair. News of the relationship first broke in November 2022.
In December, the co-anchors were pulled off the air as ABC figured out how to handle the situation that they described as “a distraction for so many of us.”
