50-Year-Old Arrested for Killing of 39-Year-Old Pedophile Drag Queen

Reports show that the late Moore was a convicted sex offender under his former name, Darren Sewell as a teenager. He served three years in a Young Offenders' Institution after his conviction on four counts of rape against a 16-year-old boy.

As an adult under the new name Darren Moore, the sex offender became a drag queen called Crystal Couture. He famously worked as part of the RuPaul Drag Race cast and became a regular on the London gay scene.

The police found Moore in his Crystal Couture persona wearing a luminous yellow dress, fake boobs, and blonde hair. However, they didn't confirm the rumors that someone beat Moore to death.

The LGBTQ community speculated that Moore was a victim of hate crime. Rather than spread fear and hate, the police asked witnesses to share any information they have with them privately.

The police said there's no established cause of death yet, although they've arrested a suspect, the 50-year-old Aman. The Head of Operations in Cardiff released a statement saying the area is famous for accepting diversity and protecting everyone regardless of their individuality.

The late performer took his husband's name after marriage. Moore's family reported him missing after a night out when the police found him dead in the alleyway.

When he started working as an adult, Moore omitted his criminal past, including the part of the conviction that banned him from contacting children. A court convicted him of violating that order when he became a gymnastics and dance tutor for children in 2011.

He then became a drag queen and represented British Airways at the Pride Festival in Brighton in 2018. However, the company denied personal affiliation to the performer when details of his shoddy past came to light.

Moore's family and friends say he was the life of the party and they miss him. They set up a fundraiser to give the drag queen a good send-forth.

The police promised that investigations would continue as they determine if the suspect is guilty of manslaughter, murder, or neither.

The detectives in charge want witnesses to come forward and help with the investigation, especially people around Windsor Palace and Park Lane on Sunday between 3:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m.

Detective Chief Inspector Raikes of the Cardiff Met Police thanked the witnesses who've helped so far saying they appreciate the support.

The Cardiff gay bar where he died tweeted that it was deeply saddened by Moore's death as he was an outgoing and funny entertainer.

The police promised to update the public with further developments.
