John Legend Cradles Daughter Esti in an Adorable Snap

On January 25, John took to his Instagram page to share a cute snapshot of him and his new bundle of joy. In the photo, the Ordinary People singer was every inch the doting dad as he scooped his daughter, Esti, in a cuddle.

The picture which John captioned, "Our new love," featured The Voice coach looking cozy in a white and black knitted turtleneck. On the other hand, Esti was clad in a pink onesie. The father of three wore a broad smile as he held his adorable baby in his arms.

Since John shared the post, it has garnered nearly 350,000 likes and over 4,000 comments, with most people pointing out the striking resemblance between the father and daughter.

Since John and his wife, Chrissy Teigen, welcomed their daughter, they have shared a handful of snaps of the little tot. A few days ago, the supermodel took to Instagram to share the first close-up photo of her bouncing baby girl's face.

In the snapshot, Esti looked graceful with her eyes closed while wrapped in a gray blanket. The photo, which Chrissy captioned, "look at u out here lookin like a baby," also showed Esti resting her head onto her arm while her mom cradled her.

John first announced the birth of his daughter on January 13 while performing at a private concert. The doting dad told the audience that Esti arrived earlier in the day, adding that although he didn't get much sleep, he felt energized after being by his wife's side in the hospital.

A few days later, the couple broke their social media silence with Chrissy posting a photo on Instagram of the little girl all bundled up while being doted on by her older siblings, Luna, 6, and Miles, 4.

John and Chrissy may be having the time of their lives since Esti's birth, but the couple has endured their fair share of challenges. In October 2020, the Lip Sync Battle presenter and her husband lost their unborn son, Jack, 20 weeks into the pregnancy.

Chrissy later revealed she underwent a life-saving abortion after discovering that neither she nor Jack would survive if she kept the baby. Thankfully, Esti's arrival has given the couple something amazing to smile about.
