Damar Hamlin was at the latest Buffalo Bills playoffs in person, cheering his teammates following his release from the hospital. The 24-year-old NFL safety suffered a cardiac arrest last thanksgiving ahead of the Bills' game against the Cincinnati Bengals.

First Day Out

Hamlin's in-person appearance on Sunday was the first time out for the Bills' safety. He arrived at the football stadium with security in tow, attempting to sneak past fans but couldn't escape them.

Sneaking Past The Fans

The 24-year-old's fans were pleased to see their star player back on the field even though he wasn't playing. Hamlin previously updated them via Instagram, saying he was recovering in good health, but his in-person appearance assuaged their worries better than his social media posts.

Hello From The Other Side

Since he's still recovering, Hamlin watched the game from a private suite away from the eager fans and reporters waiting for a statement. Instead, he gestured to everyone outside, showing that he was well and appreciated their support.

Was It Really Hamlin?

There's a running joke on the internet that it wasn't Hamlin in the suite but a body double. However, Hamlin shut down the rumors with a post on Twitter captioned "Clone" as he posed by one of his Grafitti arts.

Watching the playoffs in person was a full-circle moment for Hamlin, who's gone down during their last game. The Bills' safety suffered a cardiac arrest after tackling Bengals Tee Higgins, causing the game to pause indefinitely and later get canceled.

Emergency Medics Responded Quick

Medics arrived at the stadium immediately and rushed Hamlin to the ICU, where he underwent treatment. Once he recovered and the Doctors cleared him for discharge, Hamlin returned to the practice facility for physiotherapy and practice.

The Team Receives A Lavish Gift

Last week, every player on the Bills team received a customized diamond-encrusted "3" pendant in honor of Hamlin. The jewelry came from Rafeallo & Co.'s owner, Gabriel Jacobs, who considered it his show of support for the 24-year-old.

One Step At A Time

His coach spoke exclusively to TMZ Sports, saying Hamlin wasn't overexerting himself but taking his training in stride. The trainers ensure the 24-year-old follows a routine suitable for his recovery to avoid creating another health problem.

Hamlin can't wait to return to the field, as shown in his social media posts. The safety reminded his fans that he's about love, and they should keep supporting the team regardless of his participation.
