Australian reality TV star, Ronald Selig died in a freak workplace accident after suffering a fatal fall. The 66-year-old Outback Opal Hunters star was working on a roofing sheet when he slipped and fell in Queensland, Australia, in November.

A Quick Death

Unfortunately, he couldn't get quick response from emergency medical personnel because he was in a remote area. Reports say he called Sunshine Coast but didn't get any response. He succumbed to his injuries while awaiting help.

The reality TV show made a tribute to him at the beginning of the new year saying the crew and cast loved him as a teammate. Ron was great at his work as an Opal Hunter and made working with him joyful for his castmates.
