Tracy captioned the post while adding a pink emoji, "Happy birthday to my favorite person, love of my life. Have the bestest day!"
Fox and Pollan first came into contact in 1985 when Pollan was chosen to play Alex P. Keaton's love interest in the popular NBC comedy Family Ties. A few years later, when they both starred in Bright Lights, Big City, they went on a lunch date that turned into a romance.
After 34 years of marriage, they had four children: son Sam, age 33; identical twins Aquinnah and Schuyler, age 27; and youngest daughter Esmé, age 21.
They have battled Parkinson's disease for the past three decades, and one family rule has served as a compass: We always give each other the benefit of the doubt. "We assume the best," adds Pollan.
