Getting Support From Other Celebrities

The post quickly got other celebrities in their feelings as they left comments on the post.

Finding Rest In Graceland

Presley will be buried at the Presley family's Graceland home following a celebration of life service on Sunday at 9 am, despite earlier rumors. Page Six says the service is public, and guests can pass by her body.

She was interred adjacent to Benjamin Keough, who committed suicide in 2020, and across from the grave of her famous father, Elvis.

Scared Of Death

Presley was traumatized when she discovered her father died at nine; as a result, she grew up dreading her mortality. She frequently discussed dying, referring to the Graceland estate's garden as a "graveyard."

“I don’t plan on anything. I’m sure I’ll end up there. Or I’ll shrink my head and put it in a glass box in the living room,” she jokingly said. “I’ll get more tourists to Graceland that way.”

She once told Playboy.

Thanks to Baz Luhrmann's Elvis biography, which Keough claimed she viewed with her mother and grandmother Priscilla Presley, the Presley family had already been in the news more frequently than normal lately.

Keough told Variety,

“I started crying five minutes in and didn’t stop. There’s a lot of family trauma and generational trauma that started around then for our family. I felt honored they worked so hard to really get his essence, to feel his essence.”

Lisa Marie shared a unique bond with all her children, so it makes sense when she describes herself as "protective."

In an interview with Healthy Living magazine from 2014, Presley asserted that she is quite protective. She said she smothers them with affection and is fiercely protective of them.

Presley continued,

"We are all quite close. The older ones help me with, the smaller ones because they adore the younger ones so much. We are each other's best pals and support each other. Although I am theirs, I am also their mother."

The Official Cause Of Her Death

Priscilla, Presley's mom, confirmed her daughter had passed on the 12th of January after suffering cardiac arrest. However, her official cause of death was postponed by the Los Angeles County Coroner on Tuesday, pending the outcome of a toxicology test, which might take years to complete.
