Months after Hollywood veteran Leslie Jordan passed away, new reports have surfaced on the cause of his death. Jordan died after being involved in a car crash, but it appears he developed a heart dysfunction before the crash.

According to the Los Angeles coroner, the TV star died of sudden cardiac dysfunction and arteriosclerosis cardiovascular disease. His death was listed as borne of natural causes.

Cardiac dysfunction can occur when there is a malfunction in the electrical system of the heart that leads to s dangerously fast heartbeat and ventricular fibrillation. Arteriosclerosis cardiovascular disease is the congestion of fat and cholesterol on the artery walls such that there is obstruction of blood flow.

How Did Jordan Die?

TMZ reported that the late comedian was serving when it was suspected that he had a medical emergency. The resulting effect made him crash unto the side of a building. According to the Los Angles Fire Department, when the first responders arrived at the scene, they discovered a grey sedan had collided with a curb and a tree.

He Was Found Unresponsive

The Will & Grace star was found unresponsive and pulseless. The next line of action was to immediately free him from the seatbelt and the vehicle. This was followed by CPR and defibrillation which lasted for over 40 minutes. Other advanced life support methods were also applied.

Jordan did not show any vital signs of improvement and thus birthed the next line of action. the LAFD and the medical control physician at the Paramedic Base Hospital pronounced that Jordan passed away at 9:38 a.m.

A rep for Jordan took to this official Instagram page letting fans know that "the love and light that Jordan shared will never go out." The rep also informed fans that they would get to a glimpse of a project the Call Me Kat star was working on.
