During a social media update on Instagram, Gomez went looking to address some issues with critics. She appeared in the session with her little sister, Gracie Elliot Teefey, and the duo chatted. At one point, the singer took the time to look back at her Golden Globes attendance, and some of the comments she received. Gomez relayed, “I’m a little bit big right now because I enjoyed myself during the holidays.”
Gomez proceeded by turning to confirm with her little sister if she was right on track, to which the young girl agreed. The The Heart Wants What It Wants crooner concluded by letting the trolls know “we don’t care.”

Gomez’s wine-hued velvet outfit bore a braless detail around the bodice and a lengthy train with a bold thigh-high slit. The bespoke also included dramatic off-the-shoulder sleeves that blew up around her shoulders. She elevated her frame in killer strap heels while leaving her raven hair in a high ponytail. The former child star finished off the look with a pair of pearly drop earrings and some knuckle rings.

Gomez owned the red carpet moment alongside her little sister, Gracie who came equally prepared in a knee-length gold dress. The preteen looked adorable rocking shimmery shoes that matched the sparkly details on her dress. The nine-year-old exuded flamboyance with a pair of matching shoes and a little purse in one hand.

The actress and singer recalled waking up one day and knowing she was fed up with all the opinions of social media users. She noted that she got tired of reading “horrible things.” She also got tired of “seeing other people’s lives.”
