Jack Nicholson's Friends Fear He's Going To Die Alone

The famous actor hasn't been publicly seen since October 19, 2021, when he was spotted at a basketball game in Los Angeles with his son, Ray Nicholson. Jack's lack of appearances sparked much concern among his fans, family, and friends.

His last appearance was an event among the media. People were thrilled to see him, and he signed posters and posed with fans, yet, they were surprised about his looks. This was the first time the Internet started to manifest concerns about Jack Nicholson's health.

It was recently revealed, by close friends, that Jack Nicholson has dementia, which has caused him to isolate himself from reality. They added that he only maintains contact with his children, which is the only connection he has with the outside world.

The Shining star has been compared to his long-time friend, Marlon Brando, who died in isolation even though he used to be a very outgoing and social person. The source stated, "Brando died a virtual recluse after leading such a colorful life, and Jack's friends are drawing the comparisons," referring to the fact they don't want Nicholson to go through the same.

Nicholson's last project was back in 2010, when he starred in How Do You Know, along with Owen Wilson, Reese Witherspoon, and Paul Rudd. However, the 85-year-old officially stopped acting in 2018 when he allegedly started manifesting memory loss.

As of today, the actor resides in his mansion on Mulholland Drive. He bought the house from Brando back in 2005, and people in the neighborhood believe, "It's like he doesn't want to face reality anymore — and that's just sad," as the insider commented when talking to RadarOnline.

According to the source, the mansion has become Jack's personal fortress, or as they called it, a "castle." Still, they added that physically, Nicholson is completely fine, and it is his mind that he's struggling with.

Though his inner circle has tried to take Jack out of his house, he made them very clear he rather be in the quiet of his home. This resonated with a 2013 interview with The Sun, where Nicholson stated that he didn't enjoy acting anymore and wasn't planning on returning; however, this didn't mean he was a recluse.

Though it remains unclear if the dementia rumors are true, many people believe that perhaps the actor wants to live his last years away from the spotlight after being such a public personality for nearly six decades.
