It's hard to believe that a 102-year-old person still has unfulfilled dreams considering how long they've lived, but Edie Simms reminded us that it's possible.

What's most interesting is her final wish as the pensioner skipped the basics and went straight to criminality!

The Bucket List

Simms' odd request included her going to a St. Louis police station and allowing police officers to cuff her before sitting at the back of an official car. Typically, those actions would send anyone into a frenzy, but for Simms, it was just another item off her to-do list.

The 102-year-old kept busy by handmaking some clothing like scarves, potholders, and glass cases which she delivered to the center.

Riding In A Cruiser

Simms rode in the police cruiser during the Fall of 2016 on her way to a retirement home in St. Louis, Five Star Senior Center.

Unbeknownst to them, their offer was about to fulfill a life-long dream. Simms asked if they could put her in the back of the cruiser with a handcuff.

The Officers Enjoyed It

As a regular in the St. Louis retirement home, the officers on duty were pleased to help Simms make her daily delivery.

Despite getting the full experience, Simms didn't act like a criminal. Instead, she was like a child on their favorite festival ride! On getting to the center, she showed off her new "accessories," causing everyone to laugh.

Love For The Community

Simms revealed to the local news outlet that she loved doing community service and sold over 400 of her handmade items at the center.

Police Sergeant, John McLaughlin admitted that the officers didn't mind obliging such requests because they're wholesome.

"...We get more out of it than the seniors do," he said.

Not The Most Outrageous Request

One of the workers at the center said Simms' request is the most creative of the funny ones they get from the residents. Perhaps it comes with age!
