Prince Harry Shares A Shocking Revelation About His Father's Second Marriage

For a while now, Prince Harry has been making headlines for the buszz surrounding his soon-to-be-relased memoir, Spare. From details of his personal life with his wife Meghan Markle to the claims of the issues in his family, fans and royal watchers have had a field day getting the tidbits from the book. The latest scoop has to do with his dad's 2005 marriage to Queen Consort Camilla, and the backstory to it.

The Duke of Sussex revealed how his father was hellbent on tying the knot with Camilla despite his children's pleas. The excerpt from the Spanish language version of Prince Harry's book read:

Harry penned that he and William later realized that their father would eventually end up with "the woman he always loved., the woman that fate had in store for him from the beginning."

The Duke Of Sussex relayed that his dad married his stepmom despite the late Queen Elizabeth II's objection. He noted that she also grudgingly accepted King Charles's request.

Before ending up in holy matrimony, Charles and Camilla went from friends to lovers, friends again, and secret lovers. Even after they married different people, they kept close contact and this begged for scrutiny. His relationship with Camilla caused a deep rift in his marriage to the late Princess Diana and it all culminated in their 1996 divorce. The latter would later pass on the following year after a ghastly accident in Paris.

Per E! News, he revealed in the book that the aftermath of his mom's death ushered in a whole new reality that was jarring.
