Jeremy Renner's fans can rest easy after his latest health update following his freak accident at Lake Tahoe. The 52-year-old MCU actor was reportedly crushed by a snowplow during the holidays, leading him to the ICU for the first days of the New Year.

Family Is Everything
Renner is enjoying his family's company in his privatNot-So-Greate hospital as they visited to give him a 'spa treatment'. The video, which has now earned over 17.7 million views and counting, was posted on Jan. 5 and showed the Hawkeye actor receiving a head massage from his younger sister.
The Not-So-Great ICU Day
Renner said his family made a "not [so] great" day amazing and for that he was grateful. The actor admitted that he's still too drugged to function properly but thanked his friends and fans for their love and support throughout his recovery.
He Everyone For Their Well Wishes
The ICU update showed Renner wearing an oxygen mask and struggling to breathe as he made a witty comment. His colleagues filed in with replies of encouraging messages including Jessica Chastain who said he's handling his recovery gracefully.
Transfer From The ICU
Earlier today, a fan page on Twitter posted a video showing Renner being discharged from the ICU and transferred into a private room. They thanked the hospital personnel for doing their jobs well.
Celebrating His Birthday
Today, Jan. 7, Renner turns 52 and he's done his best to enjoy it. He even made time to reply to well wishes on Twitter saying thank you in quoted tweets to a Mayor of Kingstown fan page and The Base Chicago.
Recovering Smoothly
Renner suffered a nasty snowplow accident on New Year's when a 14,330-pound snowcat vehicle crushed him on his Lake Tahoe ranch. The actor's rep told the media that he was in critical condition but surrounded by family and receiving the best healthcare.
His Instagram update on his birthday thanked that first response healthcare team for beginning his recovery journey.
Double Surgeries For Extensive Injuries
Renner got two surgeries following his accident, as he sustained blunt chest trauma and other extensive injuries. He bled profusely from the crush due to injuries on his upper torso and right side of his chest.
Renner Has A Daughter
Renner's only family present in the ICU were his mother and sister, as he's remained publicly single since his divorce from Sonni Pacheco in 2015. The duo has a daughter, Ava Berlin (9), whose custody they share.
New Projects Coming in 2023
Renner can't wait to complete his recovery and get back to work. Meanwhile, the projects he filmed in 2022 are coming to screen this year starting with Season Two of Mayor of Kingstown.
