Jeremy Renner's Neighbor Reportedly Saved His Life After Snowplow Accident

MCU star and Oscar-nominated actor, Jeremy Renner, was recently involved in an accident involving a snowplow on his property near Reno, Nevada. Renner, 51, was admitted to the hospital. As of January 2nd, Renner was confirmed to be in "stable but critical" condition.

As news surrounding the incident develops, more information leading to and after it has begun to release.

Allegedly, It Was One Of Renner's Neighbors Who Helped The Star While He Was Critically Injured.

A neighbor of Renner's told TMZ that the actor had been helping to clear snow after a storm in the area that took place on the evening of December 31st.

However, The Plow Accidentally Ran Over One Of Renner's Legs.

The plowing machine Renner was using is called a Snowcat. According to authorities, there are safety features that prevent it from injuring people. Despite this, the plow managed to seriously injure Renner.

As He Had Been Losing A Lot Of Blood, Another Neighbor Helped Renner.

The neighbor, who happened to be a doctor, put a tourniquet on Renner's leg. He tended to Renner until first responders were able to make it to the scene.

Renner Was Airlifted To Hospital Around 9:50 In The Morning On New Year's Day.

First responders were initially unsure if they could pass into the area due to the massive amounts of snow that had accumulated.

Later On In The Day, A Representative Confirmed Renner's Condition.

Also on January 3rd, a representative released a statement regarding Renner's injuries. "We can confirm Jeremy is in critical but stable condition with injuries suffered after experiencing a weather-related accident while plowing snow earlier today," the representative told The Hollywood Reporter.

She Further Explained The Situation.

"Upon arrival, deputies coordinated with Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District and REMSA Health to arrange for medical transport of Mr. Jeremy Renner via care flight to a local area hospital." Apparently, Renner was the only one injured at the scene.

Renner Had Not Just Been Clearing Snow On His Property, But For His Neighbors As Well.

At the time of the incident, the actor was using the large plow machine to create a path on the local road for his neighbors to be able to leave their houses.

Police Initially Treated The Scene As A Crime Scene.

Because of the plow's safety features, authorities were suspicious of the cause of the incident. So far, no new details have been announced.

Renner's Injuries Were "Extensive."

In addition to suffering from blood loss in his leg, Renner had injuries to other parts of his body. Local authorities identified the injuries as "extensive" and "traumatic."
