When asked if he had met the Grammy-winning musician before his death in 2009 during an interview with Hot 97's Ebro in the Morning, Snoop initially discussed his collaboration with Michael Jackson.

"Yeah, me and Mike have got a song together," Snoop Dogg said, "I don't know if it ever came out... It was part of some project he was doing."

Snoop then mimicked Michael's renowned soft voice while acting out his phone chat with the singer. He mimed holding the phone up to his ear as he continued;

"He was like: 'Well, first of all, my mom says that you look like someone in my family. We could be related.'"

Getting On The Track

Resuming his impersonation of Michael Jackson, he stated that Michael had this specific track and wanted him to sing on it and do anything you wanted to do.

Naturally, he responded, its alright and he would get back to the singer. And that was a discussion with Michael Jackson and Snoop Dogg.

A few years later, Snoop made an appearance on Watch What Happens Live on Bravo. Host Andy Cohen questioned him about the unheard song and whether or not fans will ever get to hear it.

"It was a healing peace song that he had made and it never got out but it was a lovely record," the rapper from "Drop It Like It's Hot" retorted.

The Moment Of His Life

According to Snoop Dogg, the record had several excellent musicians, including Shirley Caesar. He said that he was unaware of the fate of the record, and it was never released.

Snoop calls it "the moment of his life" to be in the studio with Michael, indicating that he is not over the time he spent there with the King of Pop.

Given that it was Michael's song, it is likely that it, along with the untold number of other unheard songs, belongs to the late singer's estate.
