Cast and crew of the long-running sitcom The Simpsons are mourning the loss of their music editor, Chris Ledesma , who passed on at 64, and have been paying their heartfelt tribute to the talented music editor.

Tribute From ‘The Simpsons’
The latest episode of the animated sitcom is a tribute to the late editor with a title card that reads “In loving memory of Chris Ledesma.” It showed him sitting on the legendary The Simpsons sofa and holding the conductor’s baton in the company of Homer, Marge, Lisa on her saxophone, Maggie with the tambourine, and Bart on the triangle.
Tributes From Social Media
Other crew members of the sitcom also said good things about Ledesma on their social media accounts including AI Jean, who was one of the pioneer writing staff on the series who tweeted “A wonderful, hard working, very talented man who will be missed by all he knew.”
Carolyn Omine also had lovely things to say about him.
Matthew Schofield, The Simpsons animator expressed his shock and sadness upon hearing the news of Ledesma’s death.

The late editor was married to his wife Michelle for over 30 years and they welcomed two daughters. In 2010, Ledesma became a proud grandfather.

Ledesma, who has lived in California all his life, started playing the piano at the age of three and debuted in the show business when he worked as a tour guide at Universal Studios Hollywood years before joining The Simpsons crew.
