Katy Perry Reveals What It Is Like to Be the Most Hated Celebrity

Katy is known for tracks including Roar and California Gurls. The singer has stated: "I'm tired of being famous already! But I'm not tired of creating. Fame is, I think, just a disgusting by-product of what I do."

The mom of one added: "It's quite a delicate creature -- it's a wild animal of sorts. It can love you, and then it can attack you." Katy shot to fame in 2007 with One of the Boys and has since enjoyed mass success with more albums, plus a judging role on reality competition series American Idol.

Showing her real side despite the millions, Perry told Teen Vogue:

"I still want to be as approachable and relatable as possible--when I meet fans and they're crying, I'll say, 'Calm down, there's nothing to cry about. I'm not going to bite you or attack you or grant you three wishes."

The shoe designer continued: " Let's just hang out and have a good time. But really, I stopped focusing on what other people think a while ago. If you try to be everything to everyone, you'll only end up completely confused."

Katy is one of the most followed music faces on social media. 185 million follow her on Instagram - celeb followers include singer Ariana Grande and fashion mogul Jessica Simpson.

Katy's latest post came promotional in nature - she was promoting her Katy Perry Collections footwear line. "Buckle up cause 2023 is coming and you need to get ur look together!" she captioned a photo of a high-heeled sandal.

Shortly before Christmas, Katy made headlines for celebrating her latest Cozy Little Christmas track while stunning in a strapless and red satin dress. Sending out old-school Hollywood glam, the singer sizzled while holding up a copy of her record, also celebrating it reaching Platinum status.

Katy's track has proven a hit, selling 1 million copies. Perhaps, the "most hated" isn't true, after all.
