Margot Robbie, 32, took her stunning mother, Sarie Kessler, 65, as her date to the Babylon movie premiere last week. It's not uncommon, but it's rare for celebrities to take their parents as plus ones to major events as those are typically "reserved" for romantic partners.

However, when the stars take the filial emotional route and bring their family or someone who means a lot to them other than a romantic partner, we can't help but gosh at the moment.

The dynamic duo stunned in all-black for the premiere event, although their outfits differed widely, showing their fashion differences. The older lady wore an elegant floor-length dress with embellished epaulets on a long sleeve and a plunging neckline.

Kessler wore her signature pixie-cut blonde hair with minimal jewelry and beamed with pride on the red carpet as she accompanied her daughter into the theater.

Tribute To The Iconic Red Jumpsuit

Robbie paid homage to her iconic red jumpsuit from the movie with her premiere dress which is now a thing in Hollywood. We've seen it with Zendaya at the Spider-man premiere and Zoe Kravitz at The Batman premiere.

Unlike the jumpsuit, her black mini dress had a cross-neck bodice, an asymmetrical cutout skirt, and a long train hemmed with feathers. Meanwhile, in the movie, she wore a red playsuit with a plunging neckline forming a halter neck and the same train belt without feathers.

The actress' premiere dress also had a hood for her dark blonde hair, unlike the movie's outfit, which stopped on the neck.

More Mom And Daughter Moments

Babylon wasn't the first big event Robbie and her mother had been to as the actress took the 65-year-old for the Oscar's Vanity Fair after-party earlier this year. The Australian actress is very close to her mother since the older woman raised her siblings and her alone.

Their father, Kessler's husband, left home when they were young, leaving the woman to raise four children alone. Since Robbie got famous, she's shown gratitude to Kessler for caring for her.

'Babylon' Is Now In Theaters

We expect more Robbie/Kessler red-carpet appearances, with many more movies in the works. That's the only way we'll see the duo since the former stay off social media and the latter operates a private Instagram account.

Babylon is now showing in theaters, and you should watch it if you're into old Hollywood glitz, including drugs, wild dancing, rattlesnake fights, alcohol, and overall hedonism.
