Jason Momoa Spending Christmas With Lisa Bonet Proves They're Still Close

“They are friends,” the source told the outlet. “They spend time together when Jason is in Los Angeles. Jason is handy and often did things around the house when they lived together.”

The insider added that Momoa still helps his former wife and will be hanging out with the family for part of the holidays. In fact, he was snapped on Monday making a Christmas delivery to Bonet’s house.

The Game of Thrones actor was spotted in his ex’s home with a Christmas tree loaded up on his truck. Paparazzi snapped him tying the Norway spruce tree to his truck bed with a rope and then delivering it to Bonet’s Malibu, California property.

Momoa met Bonet in 2005 at a Los Angeles jazz club. They hit it off instantly and went on their first casual date that same night, when he convinced her to drive him home and they stopped by a coffee shop. However, the Baywatch actor admitted in an interview that he already had a crush on her in 1987 when he was 8 years old, after seeing her on The Cosby Show.

In July 2007, the two welcomed their first child, Lola, and in December the following year, Bonet gave birth to Nakoa-Wolf.

The pair secretly married in October 2017 in an intimate ceremony in Topanga, California, although they’d been calling each other husband and wife for years.

On January 12, 2022, the couple announced their split in an Instagram post that has since been deleted. It said in part, “We have all felt the squeeze and changes of these transformational times… A revolution is unfolding and our family is of no exception… feeling and growing from the seismic shifts occurring. And so we share our Family news that we are parting ways in marriage.”
