The Great Pyrenees is a wonderful, hardworking dog breed. They do a lot of their work at night, meaning they tend to snooze a lot during the day. For a dog that works on a busy farm full of adorable baby animals, though, getting a daytime siesta might be a little tricky.

A recent video from the We Love Animals YouTube channel shows a sleeping Great Pyrenees who seemed completely unfazed by the baby goats who wanted to include him in their fun.

The Viral Video Is Just Too Adorable!

At just over 2 minutes long, the video is pure cuteness. The video begins with the Pyrenees flopping down to go to sleep, surrounded by a good half dozen baby goats who are hopping and frolicking around. At several points throughout the video, the goats jump over the pup's legs, face, and whole body.

There were certain points where the goats jumped on top of the dog, and then jumped off of him again. After a while, the bleating got a little too loud for the Great Pyrenees, who raised his head to look at them. The baby goats scampered off. But it didn't take long before they made their way back to their favorite playmate once again.

Posted a month ago, the video has been viewed over 2.3 million times. Hundreds of commenters expressed the absolute joy that this video spread.

The Great Pyrenees is a dog that farmers commonly use to protect livestock. The dog in this video knew that taking care of the baby goats was part of his job, so he definitely didn't mind them jumping around and playing so close to him.

Commenters pointed out how it definitely seemed like the dog wanted to be there with the goats. After all, he is their guardian and needed to be close by in order to keep them safe from harm.

It's pretty likely that, at this point, the dog is used to the goats' hyperactivity. But at the end of the day, it's all part of the job.
