Fans Bash Amber Heard After Recent $1 Million Case Settlement Against Johnny Depp

Earlier this month, the 36-year-old actress appealed for the jury's verdict to be reversed or for an entirely new trial. Needless to say, this did not last for too long. Earlier this week, Depp and Heard reached a settlement on the same with Heard stating that she did so because she lost faith in the American judicial system. She said, "Even if my US appeal is successful, the best outcome would be a retrial. I simply cannot go through that."

Ever since he was tagged as a 'domestic abuser', Johnny Depp lost a lot of opportunities to make money as no one wanted to associate with anyone of that nature. Keeping that in mind, the jury awarded him $15 million in damages that had to be paid by his ex-wife as compensation for the money he lost for the false charges lodged against him. Additionally, the settlement earlier this week was also set at a staggering $1 million which Depp promised he would donate to various local charities.

At first, Heard definitely had the support of the masses since she was perceived as the victim, but as the trial went on the fans slowly realized that she was in fact the abuser.
