Recently, Austin made his Saturday Night Live hosting debut in New York City, and Kaia made sure to be present. The model arrived at the studio clad in a purple mini dress and a longline leather coat on top. She accompanied the gorgeous look with sheer tights and a pair of knee-high leather boots. In addition to her stunning outfit, Kaia rocked her brown hair, which was let down with a few strands pinned away from her face.

Austin's Saturday Night Live hosting debut was a huge success. Toward the end of the episode, the actor, best known for playing Elvis in Baz Luhrmann's epic, sang Blue Christmas in honor of Saturday Night Live Comedian Cecily Strong as she said goodbye to the show after eleven seasons.

Austin also took part in several skits, one of which saw him play a character from It's A Wonderful Life and another in which he played a participant in a white elephant gift exchange.

Austin Pays Tribute To His Late Mom

The debut was a big milestone for Austin, and as such, the actor didn't fail to remember his mom while delivering a beautiful monologue. The monologue was quite emotional as Austin looked back on his happy memories with her in one of the scenes.

While honoring his mom, who passed away from cancer in 2014, the Hollywood star made it known that some of his favorite memories from growing up were watching the show with her every week.

Austin further spoke about his mom missing out on watching him grow in his career. However, he was certain that his mother would be proud of her son, who could not order food for himself at a restaurant at some point, but was now standing on stage. Indeed, it will be an unforgettable moment in Austin's life.
