The royals are known to attend social events in the company of each other, especially the Prince and Princess of Wales - Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton. On Saturday, Prince William took time out of his hectic schedule to attend the wedding of George Gemmel and his ex-girlfriend Rose Farquhar. Prince William and Farquhar allegedly dated back in 2000 and remained good friends after their split, which was why he attended her wedding ceremony at the Church of St Mary the Virgin in Tetbury, Gloucestershire.
The royal looked dapper in a classic black suit, white dress shirt, and a bowtie as he settled to watch the ceremony.
However, according to a source, the prince attended the ceremony alone, without the company of his wife, Kate Middleton. One of Kate's former flames and Natasha Rufus Isaac's husband, Rupert Finch, and Prince William's college sweetheart Olivia Hunt were present. The bride and groom left in the back of a vintage Land Rover and described it as magical.
"It was a magical winter wedding in the snow. The bride and groom left in a tunnel of guests with sparklers in the dark, before leaving in the back of a vintage Land Rover. The Cotswolds are so beautiful in the snow!"
Miss Farquhar currently works for the Duchess of Rutland's Belvoir Castle in the special projects and business development department. She studied acting in New York and even appeared on The Voice in 2016, where she performed a song titled Anyone Who Had a Heart.
In 2011, she attended the wedding of Prince William and Middleton and also appeared at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding back in 2018. The new bride looked lovely in a silky long-sleeved white dress and a matching shawl paired with pearl-drop earrings for her big day.
Prince William has many past relationships, including Davina Duckworth-Chad, Jecca Craig, Arabella Musgrave, Carly Massy-Birch, Farquhar, and Hunt. He was also linked with Anna Sloan and Isabella Anstruther-Gough-Calthorpe, even though it was never confirmed if they were actually in a relationship.
Prince William and Kate have been married for 11 years and share three kids, Prince George, 9, Princess Charlotte, 7, and Prince Louis, 4.
