While pregnancy can be beautiful, there are some downsides to it. Some pregnant women struggle with many things during these challenging months, so it is very important that they count on a solid base of people that support them when needed.

This woman on Reddit might have a partner to share the pregnancy with, but she hasn't received the support and solidarity she deserves. OP explained that she is currently pregnant with her first child and has some issues with her cravings.

She said that she is constantly tired and hungry, and no matter how much she eats, she keeps losing weight. OP is aware of her specific cravings, so she makes sure she has what she wants by stocking her fridge with her snacks a couple of times a week after work.

However, every time she goes to get something, it isn't there because her husband ate it. OP asked him to stop eating her food, but he disparaged her and told her it wasn't a big deal and that she could always get more.

OP kept stocking her fridge, but one day she snapped. She had bought her favorite Neapolitan ice cream that she had planned to eat after writing a paper, yet when she was ready for her reward, her husband had eaten all of the strawberry part, which was her favorite flavor.

That same night she used her money from her savings account, bought a new full-sized fridge with locks, and put it in the garage with all her food. Her husband was upset at her purchase because she didn't consult him first, and now her snacks are separated.

OP Spends Her Own Money

OP's husband hasn't talked to her in a few days, but she is happy because now all her food is intact. She later added to the post a few clarifications, such as the fact that they keep their money separate and that this is the first time they have had a big problem since they married two years ago.

Users believed OP did the right thing, especially considering she has her own money and every snack comes from her pocket; because her husband doesn't contribute to her cravings and isn't respecting her constant fatigue after working all day, so many users called out his behavior.

Though OP said he never acted this way, some people in the comments pointed out that this type of attitude doesn't come out of anything and are worried about how he'll behave once the baby arrives. They recommended OP she and her husband talk about their situation in therapy to avoid similar problems in the future of their marriage.
