The ongoing court case involving Megan Thee Stallion and Tory Lanez has just suffered a major setback, as one of the major witnesses didn't appear in court for testimony, and he has now been declared 'missing' by Stallion's attorney.

The sudden disappearance of the bodyguard is rubbing off the wrong way on the already controversial case, which has seen Kelsey Harris give contradicting accounts of her experience the night of the alleged shooting.

Megan Thee Stallion Bodyguard Is Nowhere To Be Found

According to Stallion's attorney Alex Spiro's statement to Insider, he disclosed Justin Edison was set to testify in court on Friday, but he failed to show up.

"I can confirm that Justin Edison, Megan's bodyguard, was set to testify in court, did not appear, and is now missing, law enforcement is investigating the matter."

While Edison was not present at the location of the alleged shooting, Harris, however, texted him from the car.

"Help. Tory shot Meg. 911," according to prosecutors in court this week.

Edison then went to Lanez's home to pick up Megan's belongings a day after the shooting and told prosecutors that Lanez confessed to being too drunk and shooting in the air and at the ground the night of the incident, according to Deputy District Attorney Alexander Bott's opening statements on Monday.

Edison's Location Is Unknown

This discovery may be a major worry to everyone involved in the case because apart from the fact that he didn't show up to testify and give his account of the incident, his last Instagram post was also on December 2.

According to information on his page, Edison is a certified physical trainer, in addition to working as a bodyguard. Details about his last and current location are not clear. The trainer and Stallion are quite close, judging from their picture on his Instagram page.

The Luv rapper has been accused by the Los Angeles District Attorney's office of shooting Megan in the feet after a small party at Kylie Jenner's house in the early mornings of July 12, 2020.

Lanez has, however, denied shooting Stallion. Two other people were at the scene of the incident, including Kelsey Harris, Stallion's former best friend and assistant, and Lanez's driver Jauquan Smith.

Harris entered the witness box last week and is causing conversations due to mixed accounts from her, including accusations of collection monetary incentives from Lanez to lie by Stallion.

Megan Thee Stallion Says Lanez Shot Her

The Hot Girl Summer singer testified last Tuesday in court that Lanez shot her and admitted she initially lied about the incident due to her fear and distrust of the police, claiming that she didn't think the industry's "big boy's club" would believe her.

"When I get out the car, I hear Tory say 'Dance, bitch. I froze, I'm in shock, I'm scared. I can't believe he's shooting at me."
