Michelle Obama Reacts to a Clip of Husband Barack Being Called ‘Fine’ by Followers at a Rally

Former President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle served as the representatives of the United States for two terms. During that time, the first lady and the President won over the hearts of many with their story and their love for each other. 'Couple Goals' was a term thrown around often when anything related to Barack Obama and Michelle Obama was mentioned. Even 30 years after marriage, the couple appears to be as smitten with each other as the first day they met.

Three Decades of Togetherness

Barack Obama first met Michelle in 1989 when she was enrolled as a summer associate at the Chicago-based law firm, Sidley Austin. Initially, she declined his offer to go out on a date but gave in later on. The couple started dating later that year and got engaged in 1991. Shortly after the couple welcomed two children. Michelle has been an unwavering pillar of support for Barack ever since his decision to step into the world of politics all the way to helping him handle the pressure and the responsibility of a nation.

Former President Barack Obama Branded 'Fine' at 61

In a recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Michelle reacted to a clip involving her husband Barack Obama. In the clip that was played, during a rally, a few supporters in the crowd reminded the 61-year-old that he was still 'fine'. The former President chuckled before saying, "I am not going to tell Michelle you said that. Although Michelle does agree, she knows."

'He Does Not Need to Know My Business'

In response to the clip played by Kimmel, the first lady said, "I had not seen that, I heard about it. He came home and that is the first thing he said I was like 'how did it go', somebody said I was fine. I was like 'oh really? that is so sweet'. When asked if she shares stories like that with her husband she said, "He does not need to know all my business."

Launch of Another Book

The former first lady appeared on the show to promote the launch of her new book, The Light We Carry: Overcoming in Uncertain Times. This is the third book that Michelle Obama has authored. Her first book was released in 2012 titled, American Grown: The Story of the White House Kitchen Garden and Gardens Across America. The second one in 2018, titled, Becoming.
