Celebrities are superheroes, too; they can make things feel much better. This was the case for a very ill 11-year-old who wished for Christmas for Johnny Depp to dress as Jack Sparrow and make a video. Depp had no choice but to make a little boy's dreams come true, and we're talking all about it in this read.

Keep reading for how it all went down.

Kori's Dying Wish

A terminally ill 11-year-old boy named Kori wished Depp to fulfill his wish days before Christmas. The actor dressed up his iconic Pirates Of The Caribbean character Captain Jack Sparrow and sent a heartfelt message to his superfan.

Kori has undergone two unsuccessful heart transplants but chose not to face a third attempt which means his doctors and family don't know how much longer he will live.

When Depp heard about the boy and his dying wish, he responded accordingly.

Depp Dressed Up As Jack Sparrow For Kori

Kori shared a clip of Depp donning his popular pirate outfit in his new YouTube channel called "Kraken the Box," which showed the content of Depp's special message to him.

"I wish you the best of luck. I am your number one fan, Captain Kori. All the respect and love, mate," said Depp.

The 59-year-old actor also promised to encourage friends to follow Kori's YouTube channel. Dwayne Johnson heard that loud and clear and followed the young boy.

Kori now has 170,000 awesome subscribers on YouTube, and fans are showering encomiums on Depp for being so thoughtful. One fan commented,

''Love or hate Johnny Depp, but you can't deny his true love for caring and sending wonderful messages to sick children. This man has a heart of gold!''

Kori's mom, Pixi, spilled that Depp's video was made a reality through the Make-A-Wish charity and described it as amazing, helping to lift her son's spirit through the devastating time for her family and Kori's friends. She also revealed that the surgeons have given Kori, who was born with hypoplastic left heart syndrome, a heart replacement in 2018 but got rejected by his body.

He underwent a second transplant in 2021; his body again rejected it, causing them to decide not to go through with a third transplant.
