Lily Collins is reacting to rumors that legendary Sex & The City star Kim Cattrall might be joining the cast of Emily in Paris. The Netflix star is currently celebrating the show's third season - everyone's into the fashion, the Parisian energy, and continuing to follow Lily's on-screen love life. Now, however, there's talk of the '90s favorite Kim getting in on the French-set romantic comedy-drama - Lily spoke to E! News about whether or not fans can expect a Samantha Jones 2.0 on Emily in Paris. Of course, talk is heating up after Kim made a surprise red carpet appearance at the EIP premiere on December 6.

Kim, 66, is best known for her hard-hitting, man-loving Samantha Jones on Sex & The City, a '90s-commenced series now enjoying a sequel via ...And Just Like That.

"We wanna know that, too," Lily revealed of being asked about Kim's possible join. The To the Bone star added,

"It was so wonderful to hear her speak about the show, and she's such a big supporter, and we're so grateful for that. We've been asked that question. We were like, 'Darren? Does anyone know anything?' We don't know."

Would Dad Phil Collins Join?

Lily was also asked if her singer father Phil Collins would join. The 33-year-old replied that she didn't think that would be on the cards. "Maybe he's gonna do a cover of one of his songs," she did, however, state.

Earlier this month, Kim made headlines for rocking up to the Emily In Paris Season 3 red carpet. She wore a plunging black jumpsuit and matching hat while looking sensational at 66. SATC and Emily in Paris were both created by Darren Star.

Star Cast

The much-loved EIP series stars Lily Collins, Lucas Bravo, Camille Razat, and Ashley Park, plus popular Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu as Emily's initially standoffish boss. Meanwhile, Lucien Laviscount plays a love interest coming in as a 2.0 from Lucas' character in Season 2. Lily's character, Emily, plays a marketing executive sent out to Paris to provide a U.S. perspective to a rather French-thinking fashion firm. The first episode aired back in October 2020.

Paris Press

In a recent Instagram share, glamorous Lily posted footage from the set. "And that’s a wrap on Paris press! Couldn’t have had more fun if we tried. My heart is so full of joy and gratitude for my @emilyinparis family. Less than two weeks until season 3!!…," she wrote.
